Early Years Ballet
Aspiring little dancers can begin ballet in our early years classes.
Swans & Cygnets is our baby and parent ballet group for children aged 18 months to 3 years old. This is a fun class that introduces toddlers to music and movement.
Pre-School Ballet is for older toddlers aged 3 years+ and helps develop confidence, musicality and coordination all on the foundation of classical ballet.

Ballet Syllabus & Examinations
Our students follow the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Classes allow children to develop fitness, creativity, movement, expression and confidence.
RAD exams and assessments encourage dancers of all ages and ability. We offer children the chance to take part in assessments from Pre-Primary upwards. The syllabus is accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA).

Modern & Tap
Full of rhythm, pace and showmanship, our Modern & Tap classes allow children to enjoy other fun styles of dance. Students take these classes to either support their ballet or provide an alternative. They learn energetic and enjoyable routines with opportunities for performances and assessments.
East Surrey Dance uses the Imperial Society of Teachers (ISTD) syllabus for both.
